PUMA launches their new positioning in the Running/Training category focused on Versatile Running. Six ‘Runcrews’ from around the world meet in Cape Town to do what they do best: run, party and perform.
The Nine Four Crew (South Africa) hosted crews from around the world Rundamental (Turkey), MRC Paris (France), Outra Fe (Brazil), Highbeams Dubai (UAE) and Flexboyz (Germany), and showed them how they live 24/7 in and around Capetown.
Our ‘performer’ doesn’t want to be advertised to; they want to make the decisions. They do not want to be dictated to, what to think or what to do. As a brand we do not believe that their culture can be bought. We would like to support these authentic individuals who are building the culture than just have models or influencers who pose for it. In short, ‘Let the kids play’
“We don’t care about breaking records, We care about breaking boring.”
Our Performer can take any shape or form, but what is key is they don’t look like any runner/trainer you’ve seen before. Our Performers are unique looking, yes confident of course, but what is important is that in their craft they are respected. The craft itself isn’t important.
What is important is that although running/training is part of their lives, it’s not their entire lives. They get their street cred from their craft (which isn’t running or training) and put that energy into their running/training.
When PUMA Crews from around the globe come together to run, party and perform this is what happens. No fake sweat. Everything is an outtake. This is the story behind today’s running crews. Real people being #24Seven
