KOTRA, the Korean Trade and Promotion Agency will be hosting the 2018 Korea Consumer Goods Showcase at Century City Convention Centre in Cape Town from the 28th to 29th November.

In 2016 KOTRA launched the Korea Consumer Goods Showcase on South African shores and has hosted two successful showcases to date. Korea consumer goods showcase is the largest Korean consumer goods fair in South Africa and offers a range of Korean beauty, food and lifestyle products. This year, KOTRA is hosting K-shop pop up store from 27th to 29th November with a focus on beauty and lifestyle related products, giving South Africans access to the finest selections of Korea’s favourite K-Beauty products and brands.

This year Kotra has teamed up with well known influencers, to illustrate the latest makeup looks and trends to the public at the free pop up. Guests will get a live review on the elements of the cosmetics and make-up to help them make informed purchase decisions.

Joining the pop up are social media sensations Nadia Jafta and Lesego widely known as ThickLeeyonce. Beauty influencers Candice Lee Kannermeyer and Lindy Lin also join the K Night lineup. The influencers will avail themselves for a live Q & A session, giving fans an opportunity to find out more about their favourite personalities.

Talking on the event Mr. Seung-hee Lee, Africa regional director-general of KOTRA said, “This event will be the global platform for strengthening trade cooperation between Korean and Africa companies in the consumer goods industries.”
