FOOTWORK has been bringing fashion-savvy South African women value and quality since 1989, with sandals, boots, flats and heels that are always at the forefront of seasonal trends. Now FOOTWORK proudly welcomes Thuli Phongolo into the FOOTWORK family, as the brand’s fresh new face for summer 2017. Past ambassadors have included the likes of Loot Love for the brand’s AW16 collection, and Amanda Du Pont who was the face of FOOTWORK for SS16.
Soweto-born Thuli Phongolo is known for her bubbly, fierce and outspoken personality. Thuli gained fame for her role as Namhla Diale on the popular South African TV show, Generations the Legacy, and her career has blossomed ever since. Her natural talent and drive has led her to boast a list of titles, including that of actress, DJ, model, presenter, MC and aspiring entrepreneur.
The indisputably glamorous Thuli had this to say about her latest endeavor with FOOTWORK: “It’s truly an honour and I’m so grateful for this opportunity. I honestly couldn’t be happier to be the face of such an incredible brand, and I jumped at the opportunity to collaborate. I love shoes and it’s so rare to find a brand that gives you elegant style, comfort and quality at such an affordable price.”
FOOTWORK’s S17 collection is now available for purchase at select retailers, and online through Superbalist, Zando, Spree and theshowroom.online. Follow FOOTWORK and Thuli on Instagram by visting @footwork_za and @thuliphongolo respectively.
