Music: Meet the Gang, the Indigoat Clan

The Indigoat Clan aims to break boundaries with their alternative experimental music with most, if not all, of their music being inspired by their own personal feelings and experiences. The clan bounces back and forth from making extremely dark music to happy trippy music, with a lot of styles and genres in between.

They bring a refreshing take on the way music is made and heard; this is perhaps because they do not conform to the traditional formats and executions performed by typical artists in the industry. The contrast between the four members of the Indigoat Clan is definitely something the music industry is missing and could very well play a crucial role in the shaping of a new sub-culture within the hip hop scene.

ET AKA Lord XAN, TAXAN, the holy Xannith the first, NAHWEA the new age hippy was born in Cape Town grew up on the east side of Johannesburg but always visited Cape Town to stay close to his roots, bringing an unusual mix of flows on instrumentals with an abstract depiction of his thoughts on beats.

Mbuso deKiller’Clown

Mbuso deKiller’Clown also known as Shaka 2.0 is a rapper/producer from the Indigoat Clan who is born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. The 21 year old rapper shapes his sound around various aesthetics, vibes and energies sourced from different points and milestones in his life. His witty flows, bars and beat production make him a memorable rapper to have in your playlist.

Tycro Bluford

Tycro Bluford aka (N_Evol) Indigoat Clan member born in Johannesburg, Kempton Park raised in Kimberley currently a student situated in Pretoria aged 21 years old, Tycro is a musician with a stainless style of rapping/ story telling and some phenomenal music composition skills that’s really hard to hate on but easy to relate too.

ZapSign Deebo

Zapsign Deebo Indigoat Clan Member trying to big up all the kings and queens around his way. From Zeerust in the North West Province, SA, living in Johannesburg, Gauteng, SA. Raised in Bellevue East, Yeoville. He went to Rand Tutorial College, where he met ET and Killer’Clown. ZS Deebo has been rapping for about 7 years, the majority of which has been with the Indigoat Clan and continues to expand, evolve and educate.
