We live in a time where diversity is overlooked and personal traits are slowly diminished. Individuality is discouraged and opinions are sidelined. We are influenced to be believe that there is one correct way, one acceptable manner of doing things and that there’s a single way leading to a specific destination.
Well I’m here to ruin, or make your Monday by letting you know that your way is A WAY, out of many. Which means that your way is not incorrect compared to the way that the next person is taking. As long as it will lead you to the place that you want to see yourself at, it’s the right way.
Ask yourself this; if there was only way to reach a from B from point A, literally, would four way crossings exist? Would off-ramps be so essential for traffic convenience? Would all gravel roads we use today be accessible?
If the answer is no, ( which I believe is the answer of any person who doesn’t use aircrafts as their sole mode of transportation), then you’ve got the gist.
We are given options to access OUR destinations in the way that best SUITS us using the different resources that we have at our disposal, individually and variously.
So You. You’re on the right track. As long as your chosen path will contribute to you being better at what you do, pass that course, get that job, reach those health goals, fight that depression, makes that decision m…whatever it may be, you’re doing it the best way you know how. And that’s the right way.
Therefore, do not ever be discouraged when you’re not doing it the way that everyone else is doing it. They aren’t even sure if their way is the right way either.
Today, and for the rest of this week, know that there is no single right way fit for 7 billion people. Your chosen way, as much as the way of another, are positively valid and right ways, respectively.
